1. What we collect
peekafoot has no accounts and no sign-up. When you purchase a reveal we store: the email address you give Stripe at checkout, your optional display name, your IP address and browser user-agent at the time of checkout, and the purchase record (amount, timestamp, revealed tiles). Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them.
2. How we use it
Display names are shown publicly next to reveals. Everything else is internal only: delivering the service, fraud prevention, and evidence in payment disputes. Your email is never displayed, never used for marketing without your separate consent, and never sold. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
3. Cookies and tracking
We set no advertising or analytics cookies. Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout pages; see Stripe's privacy policy.
4. Service providers
We share data only with the providers that run the service: Stripe (payments), our hosting and storage providers (Fly.io, Cloudflare). Each receives only what it needs to operate.
5. Retention
Purchase records are kept for up to 7 years to meet tax, accounting, and payment-dispute obligations, then deleted. Encrypted backups are retained for up to 180 days.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including California residents under the CCPA), you may request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected]. Note that display names attached to completed public reveals are part of the public record of the picture; we can dissociate them on request.
7. Children
The service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
