1. The service
peekafoot displays one shared, partially hidden picture. When you pay, you purchase a reveal: peekafoot immediately reveals one or more randomly selected tiles of the current picture, visible to every visitor. You do not choose which tiles are revealed. The reveal is performed automatically upon payment confirmation and is permanent and public.
A reveal is a service, performed in full the moment your payment is confirmed. You do not acquire ownership of, or any license to, the picture or any part of it. You receive no file, download, or other deliverable unless expressly stated on the site.
2. Payments and no refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. Because each reveal is performed immediately and cannot be reversed, all purchases are final and non-refundable. By purchasing you expressly consent to immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that no cooling-off or withdrawal period applies once the reveal has occurred.
One exception: if your purchase requests more tiles than remain hidden, the excess portion cannot be performed and is automatically refunded. Only the undeliverable excess is refunded.
Each reveal is logged (timestamp, revealed tiles, payment reference, network metadata). These records are used as evidence of delivery in any payment dispute.
3. Display names
You may optionally provide a display name at checkout, shown publicly next to your reveals. By submitting a name you confirm you have the right to use it and that it does not impersonate anyone, infringe any trademark or other right, or defame or harass any person. We may reject, replace, or remove any display name at any time, at our sole discretion, with or without notice — including by substituting an auto-generated name. Display names cannot be edited after purchase.
Display names are chosen by contributors and do not represent the views of, or any endorsement by, the operator. To report a name, contact us at [email protected]; we may remove any name on notice.
4. Acceptable use
You may not attempt to access unrevealed portions of the picture by any means, including scraping, probing storage URLs, or AI-assisted reconstruction; interfere with the service; or use it for any unlawful purpose. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase.
5. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the purchase giving rise to the claim.
6. Disputes
If we can't resolve a dispute over email, you and Peekatile LLC agree to settle it through binding individual arbitration, not in court, and not in front of a jury. Arbitration will be administered under the rules of a recognized US arbitration provider, and Florida law applies. You and Peekatile LLC each waive any right to bring or join a class action, collective action, or any other consolidated proceeding — disputes are handled one-on-one, on an individual basis only. This does not stop either side from raising an eligible claim in small-claims court instead.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the version posted at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. peekafoot is a service operated by Peekatile LLC. Your agreement for any purchase is with Peekatile LLC. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence; where such law applies, it prevails over the governing-law, arbitration, and class-action provisions above.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect, and the unenforceable part is limited or removed only as far as needed.
